Fangs, Claws, Teeth!

We have been exploring the deadliest creatures in Australia as part of our work in our topic. We have been researching about some of the animals that are considered particularly dangerous. We have been focusing our research on -

  1. The size of the creature.
  2. Why they are dangerous or deadly?
  3. Where in Australia would we find them? What is their habitat?

We have found lots of animals that would fit into this category:

  • Box Jellyfish
  • Funnel Web Spider
  • Red Back Spider
  • Taipan
  • Brown Snake
  • Saltwater Crocodile
  • Great White Shark
  • there are many more...please add some in the comments.

We have been really grateful of all the help teachers and classes have offered with this topic and wondered if any of you have ever had any first hand experiences with these creatures to tell us about? Please drop us a comment and tell us your tale.
